FlightAware Announces Revolutionary New Feature for FlightAware Global Customers and ARINCDirect Users

FlightAware is dedicated to continuously enhancing the services we provide to private aviation operators. Today, we are proud to announce a revolutionary new feature that will add tremendous value for FlightAware Global customers, including all ARINCDirect users.

These users can now select the FBO they intend to visit at their destination to notify the FBO of their arrival. The notification email includes a secure link that allows the FBO to track an inbound aircraft. This means that the FBO will know exactly when to expect customers to arrive, ensuring services like car rentals and fueling are ready the moment an aircraft lands.

This feature is available via a dropdown menu on the flight tracking page for scheduled or en route aircraft. The secure tracking link expires once the flight lands, allowing blocked aircraft to maintain privacy while enabling situational awareness for the selected FBO.

Currently, over 1,000 FBOs in the US and Canada, including all Signature Flight Support locations, are available for selection. FlightAware is actively adding more FBOs and functionality to this service to fully bridge communications between aircraft operator and FBOs.
